Overview
On this 8-night, golf-and-culture odyssey we've designed in partnership with The Close (a bespoke travel company with unrivaled access to Thailand’s most exclusive golf clubs), you’ll go from bustling Bangkok to beachy Pattaya and tee it up at four of the best courses in all of Asia — including a track where some of the world's very best players vie for an LPGA title every year.
Between rounds, you’ll experience the finest in "Land of Smiles" hospitality (in the form of a pair of haute hotels), cuisine (through reservations at hallowed establishments) and culture (via insider-led experiences).
Day 1: Arrive in Bangkok
Fly into Bangkok and, if arriving in the morning, enjoy a leisurely day getting acclimated to the time difference. If arriving in the evening, get a good night's rest so you're ready to explore your new surroundings the next day. The luxurious 137 Pillars is located in Sukhumvit, a vibrant neighborhood offering the perfect balance of historical charm and urban convenience.

Day 2: Discover Bangkok's Cosmopolitan Heart
You don't have to wander far from 137 Pillars to find something of interest. From grand shopping malls to cozy cafes, and quiet parks to lively bars, it's all at your fingertips. But if you'd rather get outside the city and dive into Thailand's rich history, ask us about Ayutthaya, an iconic site famous for its stunning ruins. We'd be happy to set up a day tour for you.

Day 3: Play Thailand's Top Course
Get the golf portion of your trip started at one of the most exclusive golf clubs in all of Asia, with perhaps the best course in the entire country. Afterward, savor a guided food tour of scintillating Chinatown or have dinner at a prestigious, members-only sports club in downtown Bangkok.

Day 4: See Bangkok's Historical Side
Spend the day getting to know one of the most culturally profound cities in the world, through a private tour that takes in some of its greatest attractions (Grand Palace, Temple of the Reclining Buddha, Flower Market, etc.) and a one-of-a-kind, Michelin-starred street food experience that others will stand in line for but you won't.

Day 5: Play the Lido of Thailand
On your way to your second and final destination (Pattaya), test your skills at another private club, where renowned architect Gil Hanse created a remarkable homage to Long Island's legendary lost Lido Club. Top the day off with an unrivaled seafood experience at a lauded (by locals) beachfront restaurant.

Day 6: Play the Course of Champions
Follow in the footsteps of modern-day legends by playing a course where every year the world's best female golfers vie for the prestigious title of Honda LPGA Thailand champion. After lunch in the clubhouse, visit the awe-inspiring Sanctuary of Truth, the world's largest wooden structure. Later, choose between a dazzling cabaret theater performance or cocktails at a sky bar.

Day 7: Play a True Attention-Grabber
Put your concentration to the test in one of golf's dreamiest settings, where another championship-caliber layout sits in the shadow of a mountain with a giant golden Buddha engraved on the side. Rejuvenate with a hot stone massage — the signature treatment at Mason Hotel Pattaya's sleekly secluded spa.

Day 8: Enjoy an Idyllic Island Day
Spend your final full day of the trip exploring Koh Larn, a picturesque island about 30 minutes by ferry from Pattaya and renowned for its chill vibe, turquoise waters and white sandy beaches. Rent a scooter, go snorkeling, do some shopping and savor ultra-fresh seafood. Lots to do (or not do!) on Koh Larn.

Day 9: Head Home ... or Keep It Going
Savor one last lavish breakfast at Mason Hotel Pattaya before heading to the Bangkok airport for your flight home. Or, if you've made arrangements with us for a post-trip experience, venture to your next destination.
