Asia Golf Trips was founded in 2023 by Scott Resch, a Seattleite with a passion for golf and travel — and an unmatched understanding of golf in Asia. From 2007-’18, Scott lived and/or worked in SE Asia as the head of the golf division for Balcony Media Group, a media relations firm that specializes in generating publicity for luxury hotels, resorts and golf courses. During that time, Scott not only set up dozens of trips to Asia for international journalists, he helped launch some of the biggest golf initiatives ever conceived for Vietnam and Thailand.
As a former golf writer and course rater, Scott has played just about everywhere (Scotland, Bandon, Pebble, you name it) yet dreams mostly about his golf experiences in Asia. Scott now lives in Park City, Utah, but still has his finger on the pulse of Asia thanks to the relationships he’s forged over there. He carries a 2-handicap — but also a lot of mental baggage on the greens.
And begin teeing up the fully-guided, stress-free luxury golf trip of a lifetime. He can be reached at scott@asiagolftrips.com.
Scott will continue to make Vietnam Asia Golf Trips' featured destination in 2025. Have a look at a sample program — then contact us, the Asia golf experts, for more info and pricing.
At Balcony Media Group, Scott never set journalists up at courses that weren't absolute stunners. And at Asia Golf Trips, he doesn't show clients layouts that are anything short of sensational. The caddy experience at every stop is downright extraordinary, too.
From historic high-rises that exude warmth and comfort to contemporary resorts that blend tranquility and style, the hotels on your golf in Asia itinerary have one characteristic in common: luxury. So prepare to be awed by your accommodations.
Asia Golf Trips prides itself on its relationships. So whether it's a city tour with a woman who hosted Anthony Bourdain or a celebrity-chef-made meal that will blow your mind, you are in for experiences you won't be able to find anywhere else.
Shortly after launching Asia Golf Trips, Scott Resch took to the airwaves to answer questions on everything from what sparked the business idea to what's different about golf in Asia.
